I decided to take a break from Algiers for a long holiday weekend. I flew to Paris, then headed to Normandy. My friends Rani and Kurt live in the region. I spent most of the weekend with Rani, Kurt and their son Noah. We went to the coast and Omaha and Utah beaches. I can't think of a more appropriate time to visit. Here are some photos from the trip.
